Retro, yeah finally I'm out of the closet!hehehe didnt know "pards" also meant that. I only know the old school, 70s and 80s era usage of that term, as an alternative for "pare, dre, tsong, tol".

Ha!!! I've always wanted to ask that! Yer illustrated pic in your profile definitely looks like a man and your hobbies are what most men do. Unless you're a man-ish "pards". To everyone out there who's scratching their heads right now -- "pards" is gay Filipino lingo for "lesbian". Of course, according to a Seinfeld episode : "not that there's anything wrong with that!"
