Top 10 Heavyweights: May 14th

FRIIIIIDAAAAAAAAYYYYY! It's that time again to announce the Top 10 Heavyweights for May 14th! This week we wanted to focus on the folks that stepped up this week, really stretching their abilities and sometimes even going a completely different direction for their style. This is less about voting numbers and more about the designs that Miss Etti and I thought deserved a little extra recognition.

Kartunehustla (portfolio) - Kartunehustla is known to tell it like it is, and we're glad he does! Sometimes you need to shed the sugar coating! Every week we see better designs, and this week he really broke out with a great illustration!

Elvinjohn18 (portfolio) - Just go check out his portfolio, every week is like a completely new artist submits! This week's submission is fantastic with his softer feel and textures. Wonderful!

AtomicChild (portfolio) - AtomicChild AtomicChild AtomicChild...man I love this guy This week's submission was so clever, and I think probably went over a lot of people's heads...it's a shame because I think it's BRILLIANT! I can't wait to see an AtomicChild design to win one of our contests!

Gridzheh9 (portfolio) - Gredzheh9 is one of my favorite Lil Scrappers...in the past several weeks I've seen some real improvement in his designs! Keep it up my friend, you're doing great!

Quakerninja (portfolio) - Speaking of thinking outside the box, Quakerninja REALLY kicked it up hardcore...he did a collab with another artist (Visual Singularities) this week. It's a Fight between two fighters, fighting on a shirt, on a Shirt Fight contest....WOOOO FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!

Daleedwinmurray (portfolio) - I couldn't be happier that Dale is a ShirtFighter now! He came in from the shadows and went BOOM UPPERCUT right in our face! I'm still a bit woozy from such an awesome t-shirt design he submitted! We hope you stick around buddy!

Downrodeo (portfolio) - Another personal favorite of mine! Downrodeo has a very strong consistent style, yet every design is so unique. If he had his own line I think I'd be his #1 fan...you hear me man???

Fallen - Fallen is a brand new ShirtFighter that shows some serious promise! His tee design this week was awesome...soooo much detail and color!

Boots (portfolio) - Boots is back on the Heavyweight list this week and for good reason! Her little Russian nesting dolls were adorable...and EVIL! Love having you here Boots!

Againstbound (portfolio) - Every week we have such a close fight, and this week it was between Gaunty and Againstbound. We're talking neck and neck! His "Yin Yang" design was beautiful and dangerous, soft yet fierce...a true depiction of Good vs. Evil!

We do this every Friday morning...think of it as a small art gallery where you can learn more about the artists and their work. We want you to get to know them better, so PLEASE check out their profiles and their personal portfolios, email them, buy their artwork, hire them to create something for you, buy them a drink...you get the idea! These artists deserve a closer look.
