August 14, 2009Hey there ShirtFighters! You know what time it is? Top 10 Heavyweights ofcourse! This week was GREAT SUCCESS, so many incredibly talented submissions but only 10 spots to give!...here are the new hand picked Heavyweights:

Top 10 Heavyweights: August 6th
August 07, 2009Yet another week has sneaked by! Time is passing us by a bit too fast in my opinion! Most of you know by now that we have our very deserving Top 10 Heavyweights for August 6th! This week we had *so* many amazing submissions but only 10 spots to give!...here are the new hand picked Heavyweights:
evanimal (portfolio) - Woo hoo, gotta love Evanimal! He rocks it out this week with not one but TWO wicked illustrations, each with a very distinct feel. Did I mention I'm having drinks with Evan (and Ray Frenden) tonight? Oh yes indeed, and I'll take pix!
alanis - Alanis just kills it with his t-shirt designs. So far he's given us 27 submissions! wowee! I love his use of blues, which is very prevalent in his work. ACE!
animabase (portfolio) - again, three subs this week by Korean artist Animabase, and each one is so different from each other. The crown favorite this week was "Underwater Mission"...love that Sea Turtle helmet! :D
Beadler (portfolio) - Holy Moley, this is Beadlers first week at ShirtFight but his submission "Jelly vs. Betta" completely rocks! The glow from the jellyfish and the unbelievably perfect use of halftones. So nice, SO nice!
alexmdc (portfolio) - Last week's winner is back as a Heavyweight with his ultra adorable "Rain Deer". TOO CUTE!
jublin (portfolio) - Jublin is another ShirtFight newbie, but damn he definitely is a powerhouse when it comes to design! I love love love Shark Dad....the waves and that turquoise color are so beautiful, and that little fish with a bandaid cracks me up!
Rauth - "Shrimp in Fury" was so awesome, my MOM logged on to vote for it! For that reason alone you make it to the top 10 Heavyweights :D
gaunty (portfolio) - YAY for eggplant tees! Oh, and the illustration is fantastic too LOL
Raven (portfolio) - CRAZY design this week from Raven, those swirling pinks and blues gave the design so much life!
FatPigeon - A reallllly interesting and well thought out concept this week, I love how the water cascades over the hands in "Like water through my hands"
